Hello to All Our Awesome Subscribers:
Sorry I did not take as many pictures of the inside yesterday, It is very messy and I was in a hurry to a church function, but here is the run down on yesterday's progress.
All exterior work is done, but we still need two windows in the back and I am telling you that the 1'x3' windows are hard to find, but they should be delivered by friday I am hoping, and that is when many of you are coming to my place to view this tiny home in person, so we will make sure it is built by then.
It may not look like much has been done, but I spent most of the day installing all electrical and plumbing.
I am going to have about 50-60 amps powering this tiny home and would add a few recommendations in regards to electrical.
1.) Make sure that you have three separate breakers. One for the kitchen, one for the bath and one more for the rest of the lights and outlets.
I am doing this so that if a breaker trips, you still have two other parts of the house lit up so you don't have to be walking around in the dark looking for the breaker.
2.) Save as much energy as possible on your appliances. I can easily power the fridge and water heater, but it is a struggle to power the oven because we will be powering a full size oven. So to be on the safe side I am adding two options to hook up your oven to a gas line or electric to help you save on the electricity,
3.) Lighting was also a big factor. If you notice I am going to install lights outside and of course inside. Make sure your lights have LED or some type of bulb that does not draw too much power.
Today will be an exciting day because we will be doing interior finish work, so we will see this place transform pretty soon. The stairs will be built today along with siding.
Here are photos of today's progress:
