Day #5 Building a Tiny House

Day #5 Building a Tiny Home

Hello to All Our Awesome Subscribers:

Today we got most of the framing done, we just need to spend just a few more hours putting the last few panels of siding on and we will need to make sure all blocking is in place before we bother with electrical and insulation.
I must be honest to say that I was surprised to see how shakey the roof was when we started framing it, but once all sheets were mounted on the tiny home, the house no longer has the issues waving around as it did before.
I also will be adding hurricane brackets to the trusses to be sure that there is extra support for the roof.
Another recommendation to building a tiny home is to probably glue all your sheets to the studs and trusses to further enforce the structure from moving around while on the road.
Here are photos of today's progress:

Please stay tuned on how we will be framing our tiny home tomorrow and let us know if you
have any questions in regards to using our services.

Thanks
Mike
