Day #8 Building a Tiny House

Day #8 Building a Tiny House

Hello to All Our Awesome Subscribers:

Boy what a day. It may not seem like much, but we accomplished a lot today. We basically did the following:
- We built the stairs
- Installed the door in the closet
- Installed the shower walls
- Did some final electrical work needed on the panel
- Did a little more plumbing for the laundry machine and ice maker for the fridge.
- Installed the insulation on the walls
- Started installing the interior siding
It was kinda funny with two guys working all day in the tiny home, which did not seem too small I don't think.
The biggest challange was figuring out the stairs and how I would fit the combo washer/dryer in the large space. I will be adding 2x4's above the area where the washer/dryer will go so it can support any persons weight when climbing the stairs.
The stairs do go slightly under the loft and am thinking about adding a little storage compartment in there to maximize the space as well.
Hopefully tomorrow we can get the rest of the interior siding up along with painting it. I am really hoping to finish Thursday if possible.
If you are interested in coming to my home to view this completed tiny home this weekend, then let me know and we will make sure we are available to have you view it.
I am also still offering a 20% discount on our tiny homes till this saturday. We already got two new orders in, but they are not till 3-4 weeks from now. So we wish to extend the sale to those who wish to start building within the next week or two.

Here are photos of today's progress:

Please stay tuned on how we will be doing interior finish work
have any questions in regards to using our services.
